▪️Named after a line in a song called “Flux” by British indie band Bloc Party, this is a piece about urban life and the constant struggle to keep up with what’s going on around you in the anonymous neighbourhoods around you. Anything new emerges simply on top of the old, only to get replaced by the next thing.

Though Bloc Party’s song is about relationships, the cities we live in are also constantly in a state of flux.

This work was made from rescued billboard posters and paper scraps from my studio.
