◾️As I started to work on what might become a series of paintings about all things “defiant”, I am realising that defiance isn’t just an act of rebellion; it’s an act of self-affirmation. It’s about embracing your identity, your dreams, and your values, even when the world may try to push you in a different direction by offering a tempting path of least resistance. Defiance is a reminder that there is beauty in our struggles and strength in our fears.
