▪️I returned today, though nothing seemed to remember me. The signs, faded and cracked, spoke in a language time had erased. Doors stood bolted shut, as if the lives that once passed through them had vanished without trace. The streets were empty, the air heavy with the weight of things abandoned. I walked through shadows of what once was, but the place itself no longer existed — not really. It had become a ghost, a puzzle with too many missing pieces, leaving me to wonder if I had ever been there at all.
